pricey

im really starting to promote my site in the area i live in next month to establish a hometown presence and brand recognition.and even the local newspapers and add agencys here are expensive at one news paper that gets 50000 hits a day the going price for targeted banner placement is 250$ for 5000 impressions, i bought 20000 and it will last for roughly 2 weeks the others where cheaper but wow u have to spend lots o money to hopefully make some money.i know some of u guys mentioned how u don't think that search engine optimization companys r worth much .well i'm not getting placed very well or sometimes not at all on the search engines i listed my site on so im looking to fix this soon,also im going to pay for some keyword on certain search engines and see how that works.i will surely tell all of u what works and what dosn't.
