pay-per-lead effectivity

I mainly promote programs which are pay per lead, and although I don't track them quite as much as I should, I reckon it's about 0.5% of the people I send the ads to that are sufficiently interested enough to generate the lead

Of course, you're always going to get more people clicking the link. And these results are with safelists, which are not targeted.

Of course if you do target them more, then the signup should obviously be better - LOL.

I like lead programs though and am sticking with mine, because they pay better, and I think it's a better way for advertisers to go, as opposed to per click.

If you have a Pay per-lead (CPL) program that pays you $25 per lead, and a targeted CPC (per click) program that pays you 10 cents a click, i'd prefer putting the per lead program, cause to get $25 with the CPC campaign you'd need 250 clicks...and the CPL, chances are that out of 250 clicks on that banner, atleast one person will give you a lead. So, if you have the traffic i'd suggest a good CPL campaign on a good CPC campaign.

pay per lead results always do better the first month i use them. then steadily decline month after month until the results hit the bottom or level out at a much much lower level than i received in the first month.
