Currently I have been using Enhance.com to promote my site among other methods. In my control panel at Enhance I notice it says I am receiving about 100+ visitors a day from them (that is great) and my web stats program validates their numbers! But! User activity on my site does not seem strong (signups, searches, etc...). When I use Adwords I, receive far less visits but user activity is higher.
Why is my success at Enhance.com so poor? Is the traffic they provide just "low quality" (spiders, other robots, etc...)?
Note: Enhance.com is the service Excite uses for web site submissions and their PPC program.

Got to watch them. I know a few PPC Search sites that use them as a feed and then allow their affiliates to send the search portal pages on Paid to Read Email sites. These PTRE sites pay members to click a lik in an email to get paid. Some of the PTRE sites ask their members to do a search and click a result. This tradffic is totally worthless because they are all in it just to make a penny or less and not to buy or sign up.
