I have no experience with making money from my website, but I want to use one of those services that pay per impresssion. Which is the best? Do any of them allow me to use text ads, or button sized adds?
Do you reccommend them, and which is the most effective free afiliate service, that offers button sized ads, and text ads, and lets me use ads that wold be suitable for my visitors?
Thanx

I should have a signature here, but Im too lazy to type one.

If you don't get a lot of traffic, don't even try CPM networks... They just don't accept new members these days.

many people think that all cpm programs are hard to get into. I thought this too until a friend told me about http://www.validads.com

It's great, hardly no requirements, no age requirements, or minimum monthly pageviews are required. See for yourself!

I wouldn't be putting to much stock in Engage now as they have announced they are shutting down as of September 28. For now I am using Fastclick and was filling my defaults with engage ads because even Fastclick was not filling my complete inventory. I'm not exactly sure where all this advertising downfall is headed but I've watch my money drop down to around 500 a month and just like everyone else, I am not happy with the results.
On another note: does anyone here have any experience with goclick.com? I've been using them for three months now, the contract was for 2.50 per 1000. Now I find John has reduced that to 1.50 per 1000 telling me my traffic reduced so much he had to drop it when in fact my reports as well as his show my traffic has significantly gone up.
I am seriously considering going after my own advertisers if this trend continues but haven't got a clue as to where to start..any suggestions in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Try a great site, Net-Ads.com, for banner company reviews. I would recommend looking into BURST! Media to go alongside Fastclick.

If you try to sell your own advertising, try text link sponsorships. They produce great click-thru rates, at least compared to traditional banners.

A .org is a company selling banner ads? That makes me a little weary...
