Hire people to post there. Than provide some interesting opportunity.

Hi Buddy!

How is the forum doing? Are there any live topics with lots of participation in it? Honestly, I wouldn't also want to stay at a forum that seems to have no active members. I have two advices:

1. Hire posters to populate your forum and make it seem active. Just for the meantime as you are doing your promotions and until natural traffic builds up.

2. Make a contest with a very enticing reward for forum poster who first makes the 200 or so posts (ofcourse you have to specify that majority of these posts should be relevant). Advertise this contest thru a number of ways . I would opt at forum sigs in relevant theme forums, Pay-Per-Click ads for getting targetted traffic, Targetted paid links, banners on other sites, etc.

Hope that helps. Best of luck Wink

As a starter, contribute to your forum yourself by posting new topics everyday coz it might attract others to join. but if you're willing to lend some money, You can also hire paid posters to get your forum started. they will help you get some amount of posts which might prompt the visitors to join. Spending very little amount of money and lots of time and patience you can make your forum huge and popular..
