Just got an email from bla-bla.com (yea, i am stuck with em). Check out these crazy new ad methods:

wb Travis,
I took a look at those. They are pretty wild, but do you know what kind of CPM you would be getting from that? I mean for something like that I would hope it would be good. Also do you know if its resticted to one per I.P address per 24 hours? Or will they get one of those everytime they load a page from your site..?
How is bla-bla doing anyway?
Thanks,
Ravi

Hopefully the CPM will be high, but of course no one was told what it would be.
They really never said if they only come up once per each IP address. You would hope that they did.
Bla-bla has still gone downhill. I am starting to suspect that they will be gone sooner or later.

Now that's really interesting. I just watched those things a couple of times each and still can't determine whether they're more intrusive or less intrusive than pop-ups. But if the rates are good, they might be worth a shot. Especially if they manage to keep them tasteful. Unfortunately, that's something that looks like it could be mis-used very very easily. But it's hands-down the most innovative new ad type I've ever seen hit the net.
