Hello all.

Me and my business partner (we have a few businesses together) decided to open a business that will deal with everything related to gas certificates (for ex. I added a website that also deals with this but not as much as we want to).

I wanted to ask you firstly - what do you think about the idea? and secondly what will be the best style to use for this kind of site?

If you wanted to increase its visibility, one of the best ways was to optimize it and gain the first page on google with a certain keyword that is relevant and has lots of searches, secondly try to gain backlinks from other relevant sites to help it increase their page ranking.

It's the best method to increase one site's visibility, but it will take you a long time to optimize the website.Because SEO is a continuous work in order to improve the page ranking.

As for design of your site, I'd use some very bright colors. And fires all over the page.

Don't mean to be rude. But, this is a childish suggestion for a design. Bright colors is a good idea. But fires, NO!

Pictures of happy consumers of your company. Using or buying the products.

Are you suggesting images of the product the site sells on the page is a bad idea?

So, A PC sales site shouldn't have "pictures of PC's all over the page?"

I worked for a real estate investor before; he wanted to start a new business online but the main problem is that he launched the website without giving us enough space for research process that is the backbone of the website.
So if you are not in a hurry you have to take some time to conduct the necessary research and contact with some specialists that will help you to position your business successfully..

Yes, you are right. Before starting a business, we must check research result. It is good for business.

I think that the design needs to play a big role in getting visitors to stay on your site, with interest in finding out more about these certificates. Personally, I am wary of such offers online with websites that I haven't heard of before or don't trust, so I think image will be key.

I would recommend something that is not outdated (the photos on the site you linked to look to be at least a decade old), and something that relates directly to saving money on gas, which will prime the visitor to see that your site is about saving them money.

About desigh. http://www.bocasalesincentives.com/ - desigh look very bad for that goals. You need great desigh, content and navigation for great visubillity on your site.

Your design and your site content is very important.. You can put one major keyword in your url..Then you can start linkbuilding, you must rank your keyword high on SERP to gain more visitors/traffic.

Just look at other sites as examples and get a webmaster to make one for you.
This is the easier way for you I think Smiling

Great idea! A far ast he style of the site is concerned I would incorporate your favorite colors which the site would represent a part of you and maybe add such colors to a massive number of gas certificates falling from the top of the page to the bottom. I think that would be a good idea.
