Ok, I've gone through many names, and I can't come up with one I like a lot that isn't taken. I started with "Inkblot Designs" and developed a site around that. I have a logo that I really like, a slogan "ink it up." and some content developed around ink and the sorts. Right now I'm at "happy ink designs", but it doesn't really do it for me. So, all you creative people, help me come up with a name, please! And, I need to retain the rights, so if that bothers you, please don't post that name.
My current site can be viewed at:

INKredible Designs isn't bad.
Keith, thanks for the thought, but it's a bit too long, and seems somewhat cheesy.. I'm not completely ruling it out though.

It is pretty cheesy though. Does it have to contain INK? I couldn't think of any other good ones with INK in it. INKredible Designs is a good one.

The name does not have to have INK, but it does have to be ink related. Ugh, I fear I shall soon have to change my name and redesign the whole site, or at least the content.

Dragon of Ice,
I personally think that Ink Blot is a very exotic and creative title for your company, unless however, it is already taken. I will think of a title in time, whether it’s today, tomorrow, or ten years from now, I will think of one. Until then I will be thinking.

Thank you so very much for your great effort and kind comments. But alas, the name inkblot is already taken. I can however get Inksplot Designs, so that is probably going to be my next choice if I don't find something else soon.

1. You can't force it. When it's right it will just hit you. I used to go by my last name but then one day my daughter got confused and thought tornados came from shooting stars, and hence "Shooting Storm" was born.
2. Your formal name does not need to exactly match your branded name. "The Coca-Cola Bottling Company" has no problem branding themselves simply as "Coke" or "Coca-Cola". So your company name can be INKredible Designs and your domain can just be INKredible.com. Go with what speaks to you and don't worry about the length. The domain name doesn't have to be as long.
3. What about taking the negative approach. Since ink represents the end result of your creativity... why not back up to the beginning. What about working with "blank sheet", blank slate" or anything having to do with the paper before the ink. I'm just thinking out loud here.
Nip it in the bud!

All of the above domains are available. If any of those interest you just spin off the domain name and think deeper into a title for the business. Hopefully that is helpful.
