Hi,
I'd like to exchange links with other sites.
There are a couple reasons to do this:
- it doesnt hurt your traffic but you gain more visitors.
- search engines will rank you higher if you have more sites linking to your site.
If you are interested in exchanging links with http://goKewl.com send eMail to mu@intertainment.org or reply to this message.
My sites gest about 1000 uniques a day, tendency increasing.
Later,
Malte

Hey Curtis,
I'm interested in joining new/dump the old ones.
Actually, I think I sold one book on my cgi site http://easy.web66.com but the sale based programs on goKewl.com havent worked very well.
I would think that click based programs would do much better. Is there a service where all revenue for different links is added up and paid in one check. I found it hard to reach the minimum pay out for many different merchants.
Actually, I was thinking about starting my own referral program, too. I think that if I have 150 personal websites that link to me, and I pay them 2 cents a click bt no pay before 50$, I would probably get a lot hits but would never have to pay. Of course, this is unethical and I wont do it.
So if you have any ideas about referral programs (probably your own) post em here. Mind, that the bulk of visitors from my site will by under 21. Thats great for companies who want to build up a brand name but it sucks if you wanna sell something, if that person on average doenst have a credit card.
Later,
Malte

Hi Malte!
VenerNet's has a free referral program http://www.1simple.com/resellers.shtml but I don't know if it will do good with people that age.
Thanks
Curtis

I think those dont really fit my audience.
Anybody know of an affiliate program by Abercrombie & Fitch or the GAP?
I spend all the money I make with my site @ gap.com so maybe I should advertise for them.

You might look into ClickTrade:
http://www.clicktrade.com
They have it set up where you can use CPC and CPA campaigns, and the revenue is all added as one sum. I think they pay after $25 at this time.
They also allow you to set up your own affiliate program. You can offer 1 cent oer click or whatever you want, but you'll need at least $100 to get started.
It might be worth a look, but you may not want to use it as your only revenue source because there are problems with the system. The advertisers can stop their program or run out of money (which means they stop paying). Also, you have to wait for approval from each advertiser you choose before you start getting paid for links, and some advertisers never respond.
Worth a look though, I use it on a limited basis in low-traffic areas.

Thanks for the tip, I'll gove valueclick.com a try.
I have my own affiliate program that pays 10% on all orders received.
My astrological charts are proving very popular, and now I've introduced a 5 chart family pack for just under $50 - so, good commission levels can build up easily and quickly.
I also have a reciprocal links page on my site, so anyone wishing to come and add their link is free to do so.
Kind regards,
Monty.
