hey i was wondering if there was a resource for all the top keywords that pertain to the individual search engines.

Do you mean a list of keywords searched for , categorised by engine? If so I do know a resource that encompasses this info. But there are websites that have popular keyword for the odd engine.

Something you might want to consider about top search words: a lot of webmasters are competing for those words. You might want to work on getting placement under popular phrases, rather than top keywords, or try to compete for niche words. Since you are running a sports site, many of the popular words that always show up (sex, mp3, etc.) on those lists are probably not going to help your sales much anyway, since the visitors will feel tricked. Focus on getting placement that is more targeted than the top search words.

I agree with Trespasser. Too many people are trying for a handful of top words. Try to target something less common. You'd be surprised what searches people use to find a web site.
