Less is more, if your KW list looks excessive, then it probably is. I think of KWs as mini categories - if it doesn't fit there, don't add it to the list.

The grass is always greener on the other side -- but that's because they use more manure.
I think the general rule is to write content that people will like to read, that's what search engines are trying to emulate. If every other word is a keyword, or keywords are placed on their own with no other related content on the page search engines will simply ignore it.
Also have a look at the Google guide on content. Write for humans, but be aware of your target market, it's as simple as that in my opinion.
The most important place to have keywords is in your page <title> tags and your <h1> tags (less so for <h2> and so on). Some people may give you different ratios for keyword density but I've also heard that those are a myth.
I'd say make sure the title and h1 tags are targetted, then maybe include them in one or two spots further down, depending on the length of the page. If you've got secondary keywords keep them towards the top of the article.
It is really not that hard. All you need is to apply what you learn and analyze the results so as to make the right changes. SEO is a trial and error process for newbies.
There are a number of measurements that can be used when determining how good a keyword might be:
* Search volume (high or low)
* KEI
* Number of search results for a keyword phrase
* Number of search results that use the phrase in the title
* Whether a competitor uses a particular phrase
* etc.
Looking at keywords in terms of difficulty is great for having realistic expectation of how soon you might be able to displace other sites ranking well for them, but it won’t tell you if your keyword is a good keyword for you. Same with looking to see if your competitor uses that term. For all you know they haven’t done their research yet.All of the information above is useful within context, but there are really only three things that truly matter. You want:# Keywords that target your audience
# Keywords that get traffic
# Keywords that get conversions
You can find and optimize for a lot of keywords that will perform well in one or two of these areas, but the BEST keywords are those satisfy all three requirements. Anything less won’t do.You can target your audience with low traffic keywords - but your conversion rates will be low.You can get traffic that doesn’t convert - but sales rates will be low.You can get conversions by targeting low traffic keywords - but your traffic rates will be low.You can target your audience with poor converting keywords - but your sales will suffer.You can get traffic without targeting your audience - but your conversions will suffer.You can get conversions without targeting your audience - but your traffic will suffer.The best keywords ever are keywords that you have determined to be relevant and have tested to get results. Nothing else really matters.
Keywords should be 60-75 charcters in Title
Keywords should be relevant,unique and not competitive too much,otherwise it is difficult to Rank in top serach engine's in top Listing.
The main thing is that your keywords should be relevant to the site, describing it, there isn't a limit of use of kws, as long as you don't spam or stuff kws..
For keyword my opinion is, the keyword should be related to the webapge. And the keyword related to home page also. The website relevancy is must related to the keyword relevancy. The google gives a vote to the relevancy of the keyword.

The one I know: Optimize your web page for at least 3 keywords. More worse less wasting web site SEO space

It seems that SEO is something very difficult. And I start afraid that.
