keywords need to be seperated by commas, right?
Does it matter if I put a space after the comma and before the next keyword or am I just wasting space?
for example: SAMPLE 1
Keywords: web, web search, web search engine, search engine'
SAMPLE 2:
keywords: web,web search,web search engine,search engine'
thanks.

What do you mean google will ignore those keywords laurente? I thought keywords were important to search engines and people searching.
Is it just google that ignores keywords or all search engines?

Google looks at keywords and displays them sometimes one search queries, Keywords will be a good practice for web developers, it will not die down... It wouldnt hurt having them one your pages...
Spaces are not a factor...

Keywords and phrases in your content are by far and away more important than the meta keywords.

Here is a follow up question then.....
If the keyword and keyword phrases are key to the indexing, how does google treat invisible text?
Two examples:
1. The background is white and the text is white or
2. The background is white and the text is off white (diff shade) and very very very small (but still has a H2 or H3 tag attached)?

I wouldn't do that ... that is cheating the engines and Google will probably penalize you if you do that. Plus, do you really want to be noted as a cheater?
