Hi Guys,
Well, I have a couple of issues i need your help with.
1. I own the website http://www.darklights.com/ambar
The current traffic stands at approx. 200,000-250,000 daily pageviews and 7500-8500 uniques. I am currently running banners with engage media but they are giving me very little cpm and are not selling all my inventory. I want to move to a better banner network or start to sell my own adspace (lets say I have my own adserver). DoubleClick has rejected me twice so far, and I don't know any other big banner network that would be worth the while. Also, I would rather sell my own advertising, and the rate I want to charge is 2.5$-4$, which I know is a low rate but I don't know where to start and the such. So any help would be useful. If you have any info please post it.
2. I applied for luna networks (http://lunanetwork.about.com/) some time ago and they replied now. Before they send me the information they want me to sign an NDA. Does anyone have experience with Luna networks? Do they perform good? do they have a good downtime, do they sell 100% inventory? Is the 2yr contract worth it? Please, I need any info you can disclose here in the forums.

Best Regards,
Itay Neeman

I am running http://www.flash-es.net with 500,000 impressions a month for 2000 visitors/day, and also serving banners through Engage Media with the same "problem"...
They are selling 65% of my volumes most of it in CPC
when I contracted with them 100% CPM with 40% to Netfuerza
hispanic division and 60% Run Of Site with Adsmart or Flycast. They give me 60% of the CPM or CPC contracted.
In their webpage Netfuerza was giving an average of 30$-40$
CPM (May figures) and the RON giving 5$ CPM...
In my case it is 7$ CPM Netfuerza and 4$ CPM and CPC RON.
They told me that this poor performance of their sales is due to:
-1- My site is not enough known...
-2- They are merging servers (I'm served by AdForce-AdSmart) to use Adex-Flycast which is supposed to be much better...
-3- They have not enough customers interested in spanish sites.

I contacted DoubleClick with no answer, and I will contact
AdPepper Media which seems to have big variety of advertisers but they don't publish much info in their webpage. Adpepper uses AdForce software to serve the banners.
Let me know what Engage told you to explain why in a CPM contract they are not able to sell the traffic given and the one sold is mainly CPC...

so how's your search for feedback ? the annoying NDA gets in the way doesn't it .. Sad

i don't have anything to add that i haven't already and since i have to wait until September 2000 to join Luna Networks i can't do anything...

i read on another forum you ruled out Luna Networks due to the 2 yr contract ?

Yep,

As i cant say here why the 2 year contract wasn't worth it, but i guess you know. I have a pretty high traffic site, its hard to except any offer...
