A free way to promote your site is to post it on different webmaster forums and other community forums that allow you to advertise your site. You can then if you want to spend your money, find some sites that you know get alot of traffic and slap a nice banner on your ad rotation. I found a nice site that gets about 200k hits a say for only $50 a month.. Sticking out tongue Never going to tell what site it is, but that's the kind of deals you have to look for. Good luck and I hope I helped. ^_^

Submit your site to directories and search engines, use link exchanges, advertise, add good and updated content, site should be good looking and fast loading pages, use meta tags and add RSS feeds.

The most recognized directory is located at http://www.dmoz.org. Find the appropriate category and submit your site from that category.

Also, it can take a long time to see the results of submitting to DMOZ, though it's usually considered a "must-do". However, I came across a new site today that is about to launch a "Human Edited Directory" like DMOZ, and promises to post your site within seven days. You can read about it at http://www.blueskytrain.com.

You might want to find directories that reflect the topic of your site. For instance, one I just found on Google using the keywords "directory Promotional Products" is http://inc.directorym.com/. I'm sure you can find others. Submit to as many as you can.

Hope this is helpful.

Yeah, it may take a long time to get listed in DMOZ and see the results. But getting listed in DMOZ has it's advantages.

Your website gets linked by ODP(Open Directory Project), which improves your Google ranking, as the ODP / DMOZ has a high PageRank.
Because the ODP feeds many other sites and directories, a link from them means you're automatically linked from many other sites.
You submit a site description with your website's address. This description may show up in Google's search results together with your URL.
ODP is the biggest human-edited directory on the internet. Volunteers look at your site and include it in the directory only if it doesn't contain spam, if it's useful, of interest, and on-topic. So basically it contains all quality sites.

You need to do some SEO research, get a good design for the site that the search engines will also like and be able to crawl and ensure there are no errors on the page! Then make it clear what your site is about, base your meta tages, title, etc on what each page is about and try to stop the site looking like a banner page! Then get other sites to link to you, it's a long hard slog to get traffic to the site but your need to ensure that once you do get visitors they stay.

A good option for you is to try submiting tool like web position or web seo. You can track your site's listing. Can you write related articles and post it to different resources. It's a good way create awareness about your service as well generating traffic.
You site is cool, but you have used fonts not in proper way. Try to give it a more professional look.

Here's some ideas from a couple of articles I wrote on this topic. Some of these work better with certain types of websites than others.

Start a paper newsletter. Although there are printing costs and postage costs involved with a hard copy newsletter, it will spread the word about your website to people who are not otherwise online on a regular basis. At T&S Web Design, we are in the process of starting a simple, one page newsletter that will be mailed out monthly to clients and potential clients.

Start an email newsletter. Have a place on your website where people can sign up for the latest updates on your business. Just make sure that you include unsubscribe information as well.

Write articles in your field of expertise, and include a link to your website.

Exchange links with related websites. Make sure that they are not directly competing with you but have the same target audience that you do. You can exchange text links or banner ads.

Submit your link to directories. If you have a vacation home in New Mexico, search the web for "vacation home New Mexico." Look through the first two pages of results and contact all the website owners that have sites listing multiple vacation homes in New Mexico. Give them the info about your vacation home and about your site, and see if they'll list it. Chances are, many of them will he happy to list it for free, because the more that they have listed, the more people will visit their site, too.

Write articles about your sites topic and then add your link to the authors resource box. This will help your seo.

Also, you could try writing a press release.

Never but never, positively, absolutely never, put UNDER CONSTRUCTION on your site, like you HAVE. It will piss off every search engine in the world, and even get you blacklisted. Smiling

Just an observation, your homepage is way too busy. I can't even figure out what your site is all about. It just looks like a bunch of advertising which I don't think it is. I think if you want visitors to hang around your site for awhile once they start coming, you may want to consider making some changes to your landing page. JMO.

I agree, The homepage does need some improvement. It just looks like an advertisement farm where banner ads are just stacked on one another.

This is not the way to do things if you want to get visitors and keep them. You will are just turning your visitors away.

I am not being nasty, I am telling the truth.

I hope it all goes well.

Why not just continue spamming other boards like this crap you left on the Clark Howard Money board?

THE PAYPAL 6 DOLLAR MONEY-MAKING METHOD

AS SEEN ON OPRAH EARN HUGE $$$$$$$$

I gave it a try, hey its only $6, I figured at least 6 people would respond out of the MILLIONS of people that use the internet.

You should give it a try too!

You have nothing to lose, and a whole lot to gain!

A little while back, I was browsing through some interesting adds, just like you are now and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00!

So I thought, "Yeah, right, it must be a scam",
but like most of us,I was curious, so I kept reading.

Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 though paypal to each of the emails stated in the article.

You then place your own email address in the bottom of the list at ..6, and post the article in at least 200 news groups. (There are a lot)

So after thinking about it, I went ahead trying it.

I figured what have I got to lose except $6.00 small dollars, right?

Like most of us I was a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it.

It follows the same regulations as the "mailed chainletters, which according to the U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) is indeed legal!

Then I invested the measly $6.00.

Well GUESS WHAT!!?

Within days, I started getting money in my paypal account!

I was shocked!

I figured it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in.

This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $24,641.00 and it's still coming in rapidly.

It's Certainly worth $6.00.

Let me tell you how this works and most importantly, why it works?

REQUIREMENTS:

You must have a verified paypal account.

If you do not have an account you can go to paypal.com......
and get a free account.

I would suggest signing up for a business account because it does not limit you to the amount of money you can receive.

Example: with a Personal account you are limited to receiving $500.00 a month and withdrawing $500.00 a month.

And trust me you WILL be receiving more than $500.00 a month!

Like i mentoined before In order to place the initial $6 into your account, you will have to verify your bank account with paypal (which may take a few days).

It's extremely safe and very easy to set up a FREE
PayPal account! Copy and paste this to the address bar
https://www.paypal.com (notice the secure "https" within the link)

Sending PayPal money "It is an undeniable
law of the universe that we must first give in order to receive."

[THESE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED VERBATUM
FOR THIS TO WORK]

STEP 1:

Send, through paypal, $1.00 to each email on the below list. Make the subject of the payment "Email List" and in the comments, write "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR EMAIL LIST." What you are doing is creating a service by this and best of all you are not giving your address to anyone ... THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL!
The email list:
1) rightreasons@gmail.com
2) jocelyntirado@yahoo.com
3) joelat22@hotmail.com
4) stitchqueen13@hotmail.com
5) mclain.kidz@verizon.net
6) JacobS1@charter.net

STEP 2:

Now take the ..1 email off the list that you see above, move the other addresses up(6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc) and add YOUR email
address (the one used on the paypal account) as number 6 on the list.

STEP 3:

Change anything you need to, but try to keep this article as close to original as possible. Now, post your amended article to at least 200 newsgroups, message board. (I think there are close to 32,000 groups)
All you need is 200, but remember, the more you post, the more money you make - as well as everyone else on the list!

For example: you log on to any search engine like yahoo.com, google.com, altavista.com, excite.com then you search with subject like ?millionaire message board? or ?money making message board? or ?employment message board? or ?money making discussions? or ?money making forum? or ?business message board? etc.

Posting ads on free advertising boards and free classified sites will help you a lot. In course, create some backlinks through directory submissions.
