My Site is Graphic-Hub.com and I'm not satisfied with the no. of unique hits/day that i get. It's around 1,500-1,600 unique visitors/day. I think its pretty low for a 3-Month Old site. Can u guys give me suggestions? Or Someone Wanna Exchange Links/Affiliates with me? I'm still a newbie in this forum. Thanks!

First of I think you need to work on the design and the layout of your site. For promotion you can use a forum signature very effectively to get a lot of unique visitors. Participate in relevant theme forums with a link to your site in your signature.

Here's a few ideas from some articles I've written at http://www.getasiteonline.com

In your emails, develop a little mini-signature. I have the following on the bottom of my emails:

Tim
Senior Web Designer
T&S Web Design
my.website.address
my.otherwebsite.address
XXX-XXX-XXXX

I use a similar, but shortened, version of that signature on online forums I frequent. Anyone who has any online correspondence with me should have no trouble finding my website.

Start an email newsletter. Have a place on your website where people can sign up for the latest updates. Just make sure that you include unsubscribe information as well.

Write articles in your field of expertise, and include a link to your website. Publish them on sites like ezinearticles.com

Exchange links with related websites. Make sure that they are not directly competing with you but have the same target audience that you do. You can exchange text links or banner ads.

Submit your link to directories. For example, if your forums were about vacationing in New Mexico, search the web for "vacation New Mexico." Look through the first two pages of results and contact all the website owners. Give them the info about your site, and see if they'll list it. Chances are, some of them will he happy to list it for free, because the more links they have, the more people will visit their site, too.

When I first started, I purchased targeted traffic, mainly on ebay because I was on a shoe string budget.
Then I purchased opt-in email. Also on Ebay (Cheap), I found people who were offering to email their opt-in mailing list for the winning auction price. This brought pretty decent results, but the biggest thing is that I was able to create my own opt in list.
Note; If you hire someone to do a bulk email send, offer that person something to join your mailing list or newsletter. Do not sell in the email, because you may be accused of spam if you do. Once they have opted into your email list, now you can start the selling, don't over do it though, then you will have people opting out of your email list.

This may or may not work for you, but it certainly helped me get on my feet when I had a zero advertising budget.

Good Luck

targeted web traffic is a great way to increase your visitors. Also, if you have a decent budget, try Google Adwords.

The graphics are very nice on your website. I would suggest you show a clear message and a short introduction in the homepage and to reduce the number of graphics in the homepage. Moreover, those forums and directories about graphic design would help to bring you more visitors for sure.

"It's around 1,500-1,600 unique visitors/day." You call that bad for a 3-month old website???

I really think that kind of traffic for a 3-month old website is not bad at all.

Anyway, I am new at this too. I don't think that there is a magic way to generate traffic to your site. It takes time, hard work and a lot of luck. If your site has interesting stuff, then traffic will surely come by word to mouth. Otherwise, with the large number of existing sites on the web, it is SO hard to break out.

i agree completely with ablaye.
for a three month old web site, that much traffic is a good achievment.
however, if you want to get more free traffic to your site,
you may depend on search engines.
try to increase your rank in search engines
and try to get top ranks in most of the popular search engines.

I have to admit, your site made me want to toss my PC out the window...I had to wait for all of the plugins to kick start....that could have an impact on repeat users.

I have to agree. Everything was popping up all over the place and it was a struggle to close everything down and get out.

As far as that many unique visitors for a site as new as yours, I would say that is pretty good.
