i was just wondering for those of you out there who use your website to sell products or services, how many visitors do you usually get to your website on a given day. And what do you find a good visitor to customer ratio is. I realize it will be different for everyone i was just wondering what others had as results?
Thanks
Jeff

You wouldn't really be able to gauge on visitor numbers if the content/items are different.
In most areas the ratio is from about 1% to 10%, so work on this formula:
1000 visitors = 1 sale : going for gold
100 visitors = 1 sale : going for fortune 1000 (after spending millions)
10 visitors = 1 sale : you're really bill gates
1 visitor = 1 sale : sorry to be the one to break it, but your dead or dreaming, then again maybe you are 'the one' able to sell air to humans ...
A lot of sites out there are middle man sites so the price is bumped up, I'd consider your prices a little high but last time I was in USA was 3 years ago, but when I was there I brought a lot of t-shirts, some as low as 2.99 and most expensive was about 12.00 (all had pic or logo or something, like the one I am wearing now which reads "It's only kinky the first time").
Sometimes you have to decide higher price and less sales or lower price and faster turn over
<?bhb if(broken){ echo("It wasn't me
"); } ?>

Some people are like slinkies, they dont really serve any purpose but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs ...

Anyone else have an opinion?
