I am thinking about creating an affiliate program for our PHP scripts.
What do you guys think is best? A fixed rate % commission (and if so, what %?) or a "growing" commission?
I just had the idea for the second option, where it would start off at maybe 20%... after maybe 5 sales it increases to 25%... 5 more sales, 30%.. etc... until a certain maximum %. What do you guys think?
input please!
Thanks, and feel free to add your own suggestions... in fact, please do!

growing comission is a good idea. just make sure you explain your potential affiliates why is it such a great program and how much money they can possibly make.
You really should know more about our $1.95 web hosting deal.

Right
So what do you think would be more enticing to potential affiliates? a growing commission to a certain amount or a fixed amount, likely halfway between?
Also, I plan on setting a minimum amount in order to "cash out". This is generally to just stop people from receiving a discount for their own purchase...
