Has anyone profited from Link Share or Be Free?

No affiliate support and very poor pay out record!

There's a thread somewhere in here with many stories of LS dead beat merchants and no help from LS.

So Is Be Free or Reporting.net any better? I had heard that about Linkshare but was not sure. Is there any that will actually come close in ratios for payment.

Performics (performics.com) does pay and does help affliates with merchants. But the number of merchant programs is relatively small.

Yes, Performics does appear to be tracking more accurately! I just recently signed up with them and they appear to have some upscale sites as well. Do you know much about Be Free or Reporting.net? I do appreciate your response.

ha, linkshare is the who's who of poorly managed (bankrupt, don't pay affiliates, etc) dot coms.

u'll have better luck putting a link to outer space on ur site(s), at least u know u'll never get paid and someone want promise to pay u.

i thought befree and reporting.net (someone mentioned them above as if they were separate entities) are one in the same, but what do i know.

Not all LS merchants are bad, just a great many.

I used to be an affiliate for planetrx.com who outsourced affiliate programs to befree. All my checks were always on time. I had no problems with them whatsoever.

I was aware that reporting.net and befree where the same organization but I thought if I gave both someone would just by that recognize it and answer my post. I appreciate you response and would like to know what you think is the best affiliate program that pays well.

I have had a great experience with drugstore.com. They pretty much got all of planetrx.com customers and they are the main "drugstore" for amazon now as well. Let me know if you are interested in more info.

I used to be with Linkshare and Befree during the dot com era...
I made about $2000...
They still owe me about $1200 but they canceled my account for some weird reason...
I'd say dont go with them now

I've used a lot of LS merchants in my "younger" days of running a site. Rung up lots of good fees but rarely got actually paid them. LS wouldn't lift a finger to help collect.
