Being into SEO i prefer the organic way but i have accepted that using Adwords for some websites is a must...so... i need help!
I have found that there is a £5 set up fee but i was wondering do you pay Google for all of the clicks at the end of the month?
Can i adjust CPC amounts at any time?
Is there a minimum contract?
Lastly, i can't find any Terms and Conditions page?
Cheers,
-Rob

I suppose you do pay to Google for all the clicks at the end of the month. Here's the link for terms and conditions page of Google Adwords. I think you will findl answers to all your remaining questions here.

Hi again,
I am now signed up and i have checked my adword by typing in the keyword. Despite my average position being 8th i have refreshed about 40 times and haven't come up once. If i click on the 'More Sponsored Links' page however the advert is there.
Does it take a few hours to become fully approved or something?
Cheers,
-Rob

I just started with Adwords a few weeks ago and some of my ads started a little slow. By the 3rd day, I starting seeing my ad listed in the correct position.
As for CPC - I know that you can start a new campaign with the new CPC and then cancel your current campaign. I just set my monthly budget whenever I set up a campaign to make sure I am never charged more than maximum spend. So far the daily budget has worked great.

If your ad appears in the 8th place, that may be low enough that your ad isn't shown until the person clicks into page 2. 8th place may actually be at the top of the page in that case.
Just a WAG.

Hi Rob,
If you want to succeed with adwards you should find houndreds of keywords, there are some tools for that, some of them are free.
Don't forget the "Phrase Match" and the [Exact Match], check your budget in the first days and write some good ads.
If you want I can help you with that, just send me private message how to contact you

I started my first Image Ads campaign with Google Adwords today, the minimum BID is $5 per click to valid my Ads. Really not cheap
Hope it works.. Who knows ?

Hi Chicho,
Thanks for the tips. I did noticed the text in the ads made the difference because since changing it i have doubled clicks. I use a free keyword suggestion tool for my keywords at the moment, have about 10 at the moment, only one gets the clicks though!
Good luck BestProbe

google adwords is very good. the best tip is to make your ad have good keyword density so it'll get used more. i.e have 1 ad for a list of smiliar keywords and another campaign for another list of similar keywords and change the wording of the ad.
the more popular the ad (CTR) the less you pay!

Hi Rob,
I have some new tips for you:
1. You can use your competitors site names as keywords
2. You can write one word in the keyword tool you use and then pick the best keywords from the list you will get.
For example the word SEO, I checked this keyword with "Keyword analyzer" (this is the tool I'm using, with this tool I know how many competitors I have for each keyword) and I found some keywords you can use. such as:
seo company
seo firm
seo expert
seo consultant
internet marketing seo
affordable seo
seo web design
seo consulting
professional seo
seo uk (only 11 competitors)
seo specialist
All those keywords have less than 30 competitors and more than 2000 searches monthly.
Good Luck Again,
Chicho
