Hi folks!

My question is - does anyone have a list of Ezine / Newsletter Directories or is one easily found anywhere?
The second part of the question is - is it worth submitting to such directories?

I know the benefits of submitting your site to a Directory and I imagine the same benefits apply to your Newsletter/Ezine being listed in an Ezine Directory i.e. backlinks.

Does anyone see any extra traffic or signups by being listed in an Ezine Directory and is it worth the bother of doing it.

I have submitted to a handful of such sites and so far it has been a slow tedious process to find any.

Any thoughts?

You can do a search for ezine at google.
It all depends what kind of site you have. Directories are good place to submit your site

A google search came up with this site. The directories listed on the right seem pretty acceptable.

In my experience, submitting to hundreds directories was not the best way to spend my time. It is worth your time to submit to 10-20 high quality general directories, and 10-20 specialized (newsletter, in your case) directories. After that, just forget about directories. Because most directories (probably >95%) are low quality crap sites, search engines won't put to much weight into the backlinks you get from them. Here's a good read about directories.

Yeah tedious work sucks.

I think I agree that it is usually the best expenditature of time to focus on the top 5 or 10 at most. But I do not know for a fact.

Ideally, the best way to do this would be to use a good tracking script and TRACK YOUR RESULTS.

That way you can see what traffic you get from where. That way, you may waste time doing this for one site, but you'll quickly see what is the most effective use of your time.
