I realt think that this is crap, you problably will get 1 milion hits, but from automated systems that will not bring you no good.

I used all kinds of thinks like that, and trust me, none realy work.

remember the golden rule, "if it sounds (looks/reads) to good to be tru it usually is"

web content is your answer, the search engines will look for the keywords of your content and list those, those in turn are what should sell your site, plus word of mouth is good too

I prefer the phrase: "if it looks like **** and it smells like **** then it's probably ****"

I'm sure you can fill in the blanks... Wink

I will tell you what can work with ebay though - if you go into their forums and become a regular poster, preferably on subjects related to your website content, then many of the people reading your threads will visit your "about me" page. Ebay of course allows you complete freedom over this section so get your url on there along with your sales pitch and hopefully some targetted traffic will come your way Smiling

I would almost always suggest some sort of targeted advertising; this way you can be sure that your potential customers actually want to see your site.

However, this can be expensive. If your site happens to be very general, like "webmaster" or "beauty", I have found that services like clickcreator.com and safepartner.com are good at getting your website seen at a good price.

I have an interesting point of view on this, actually, we sell traffic from our site on ebay. I can say for sure we are honest, and the traffic is real.

The ones that are really cheap are the scams im sure. I sell my cheapest package at $9.99 for 10,000 hits. Anything cheaper than that has to be a scam , in my opinion.

I've seen some auctions people feature that just say "Go to my website! Click here!" and has a link...

Page views are pretty high too...Don't know if that works but for a few bucks it might be worth a try ?

Ive had links to my site in auctions before and heres what happens:

They click the link, bypassing the auction... and then half the time they dont buy from the site either. So.. I found its better to keep the link out of the auction because this way the auction gets bids, and you sell. Of course it must depend on your product and other things as well...
