CJ.com is overwhelmingly the most popular affiliate program on the 'Net, but people complain they don't pay (you can't believe all rumors) and people are increasingly upset they don't offer CPC campaigns anymore. Do YOU still use CJ.com? If so, what are your reasons for doing so and would you consider changing to a similar service? For those of you not using CJ.com, what do you use and what caused you to switch from CJ.com? Are you satisfied?

CJ has sometimes tracking problems, and a few things ain't running perfectly. But it's still the best affiliate network. Or better said: all the other networks are worse than CJ...

I'll stick with them. At least I know that if something's going wrong, they'll fix it - sooner or later (better a moving turtle than a paralized horse). Besides that, no one has even 1/10 of the features they do.

About payments: I always received my checks on time, but the last one. I suppose this has something to do with the fact that I applyed to have it cut in EUR instead of US Dollars.

I know how you feel. I checked some of my ad campaigns from CJ and found like half of them were either deactivated or redirected to an error page. So earlier this week, I check all my running campaigns and removed all the ones that didn't work, added a few new ones.

Never did figure out how to add campaigns to my SmartZone...

About 95% of the CJ programs that were working well for me dropped out over the last few months, with the changes, but I still use it. It still does a little good... better than nothing. Tried bcentral for a while also but of course they're closing now. At least for me, there's not much out there that seems any better than CJ even now.

I use cj for a highly targeted, hosting related site and the return is pretty good. I've never had a problem with unsent payments, but it is very annoying that they don't contact you via email when one of your advertisers is deactivated or suspended. If you're not careful you can end up with useless ads running.

Overall it is a very good program. I can't say that I've seen any others that turned out to be anywhere near as profitable.

Give 'em a chance and see how they workout for you.

Good Luck,
Keith

They send out emails if one or more of the advertisers you are affiliate with get deatctivated..What i miss is that they tell you exactly who got deactivated.
