To add some up to date information onto your site you can set it up with an RSS feed from a news agency.

This code when added to your site will allow for news items to be automatically updated daily by the news site without any changes being made by you.

Does anyone have any experiance with RSS and can give feedback if it helps with page rank/traffic generation etc.

Cheers

Think of it this way, the more useful your site is, the more users would want to stay and may even recommend it to friends. A very essential part of promoting a website IMO would also include content building.

And yes, it does help bring in traffic. Just the other day, a co-member in another forum opted on our free xml feed. I will let you know how well it serve her site once I get a feedback from her. Wink

It is important coz it is used to publicize the latest news from your site. it give users the latest updates, so every time you posts something new to your site, users will immediately informed regarding the latest updates..

I know RSS feeds are used for higher traffic if you send it to directories or by building links from it
