Anyone tried this? By my calculations for $25 at GoTo (at a 5 cent keyword) you'd get 500 hits. By e-mailing and achieving just a 1% clickthough you'd get 1,000 clickthoughs.

That's true.. also it takes a hell of a long time to email 100,000 users. - plus think of all the ERROR: MAIL ADDRESS UNATAINABLE emails you will get back because the email doesn't exist anymore.., I don't know, I think I'd just pay a site similiar to my site, (movies) to advertise my banner..

i agree with ya on the error messages that youll get back on these emails it sounds very good--i nearly loss my super speed connection because of the emails i sent due to spam reports.but it dosn't take all that long to send 100000 emails at all i used a demo version of bulk email software.had i purchased the full version i possibly would have not got the complaints due to the software stopping all returned or bad emails from reaching the host server.it eliminates all bad emails from the masterlist automatically so when you email again those emails aren't there anymore also i never gave the email recipeint an option to delist himself from the list by sending me an email directly.so i made some real mistakes there i got some great results though --short lived--i still want to find a way to do it in a ethical way that no one is harmed or upset.
