Can you make any money with page impression advertising? I am new to this aspect and am trying to figure out the best way to capitalize on page views.

Every time a google ad comes up on someones site... do they get paid?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, but you really have to have a lot of page views. Most CPM networks only pay ~ $.50 for a thousand impressions. Unless you have a really high traffic site, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes and no. Google does let some advertisers do CPM on their networks. So it is possible. However, most of the time, a user has to click the ad before the publisher gets any money.

What type of site is it? And how much traffic are you getting?

If you are going that route I would rather choose a pop up advertiser. I use kanoodle for this on a site that only gets about 2000 uniques a day and still makes $200 a month.

Could you post a link to that site so I can see how that works? I personally hate popup ads, but maybe that's a way to go. Do these pop up from the bottom of the page...? This is a community/information site that I have. Thanks

Google adsense is mostly CPC. If you get decent traffic like even 100 visitors who are targetted then you will get around 10 clicks a day. They should make around $1-5 and it depends.

Some years ago CPM used to be effective but it no longer is. Most of the popups are anyway blocked in IE6 or mozilla. Also popup blockers block almost all CPM type ads. Visitors are no longer interested in popups.

But still some survive. I believe adversal is a good try. They pay $1.2 per 1000 popunders.
Hope this helps
THank you
