I hope this is the correct place to post.

I bought in good faith 200K unique from buycheapadvertising.com. I paid $900 for this up front.

The site delivered just 30K visitors and then told me they have delivered them all.
I complained and was told that it must have been because my server was slow. I have a
dedicated server with bandwith of up to 100Mb/sec.

It turns out this site like many others is a "one man band" and not to be trusted.
It is run by a guy called Wyatt who suddenly went awol for 10 days when I had a complaint.
He ignored my emails, my messenger messages, and my phone calls. I finaly got hold of him
today and he just blamed my server for being slow.

Don't use this company their business model is to get paid upfront and not deliver traffic.

That sucks. I think it was stupid of you to buy $900 worth of advertising, though. You could have contacted me and I could have gotten you this the honest way for only maybe $400- $500.

PURCHASED TRAFFIC IS CRAP!!

404...Popunder.. proxied... NONSENSE traffic...

The best thing to do is get these engines EXACTLY what they want... and drive QAULITY traffic to your site....

Check out http://nerdlib.com/ it will help generate the content.. trial version available as well.

PPC - well its better then buying hits from some place... but again can be costly and although it can be very targetted its not the traffic you want all the time... the SE traffic has been and always will be.. GOLDEN..

I think a good lesson was learned. I don't pay for clicks. I would gladly pay for purchases, which Is why having your own affiliate program is good, but never for "clicks" because this is all they are.

May I ask where you can pay for purchases?

Do you mean pay for sales or pay for a product and use the product?

You paid $900 for 200k visitors???

A lot of these sites tend to rip you off in this manner.. (Not providing full amount of traffic, suddenly going AWOL, etc.). I managed to get ripped off to at i-web-marketing.com, I paid $139 for 100,000 hits. Then I went into the same business to correct the errors they were making Smiling

No offense, but who in their right mind would pay $900 for an outfit lke that? At least give it to Google for solid traffic..
