Hi,
I'm really new to this webpage stuff, well webpages that make money. Before I wasn't concerned on search engine optimization and things of that sort but I've learned that your only going to get money if you promote your site. I'm unsure what would be the best way to promote my site Teen Hangout: http://www.teen-hangout.net. I've already did search engine optimization for my other domain http://www.teen-hangout.com, which should be transferring to my new host soon. I don't think doing promotions for both domains is necessary. Anyone have any ideas of other ways to promote my site?

Thanks

Have you seen http://www.selfpromotion.com/ by any chance? The site has some great info on promoting.

Hi. I had a good list of urls to go to but IE errored and I lost my reply Sad

Anyways, look for sites that have to do with teens to adverise or link exchange with those sites:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=teen

Also check out advertising at movie theaters.

Be careful having two domains with exactly the same site & content on if you are planning on submitting both to the likes of google as they may ban one or both sites as they will consider this spamming!

When you say you have optimised the site for the search engines what have you done? Just adding meta tags isn't optimisation.

I've taken an advantage of meta tags but I'm aware that they don't have much of an affect on google now. I also submitted my site (teen-hangout.com) to all major search engines. I also have main keywords on most of my pages. What else can I do?

Thanks

Have a read through the Search Engine Challanges forum here as there are quite a few threads on how to optimise for google, etc.
