Best way to display hundreds of links without SEO penalties
Hi All, quick questions.
If I wanted to display many links to partners sites, possibly hundreds maybe thousands on a single page, what would be the best way to do this. Include a paragraph of content to go with each link? categorize the links in some way?
Any suggestion would be great, I know this sounds like a strange requirement but I would like to know if this would be possible and how it would be done.

No, don’t do this because it is called as link farm and you will not be saved from the search engine’s penalty. So my advice to you is, avoid this.

I know that it would be ideal to avoid this, but I am saying if you needed to do it what would be the best solution? There are many sites that do this, look at blogs with hundreds of comments. Each blog comment often has a link back to a different site linked from the name of that commenter, yes there are often no-follow tags on those links but what about the blogs that don't? Essentially they have 100's of links on one page with a few paragraphs of content with each one, so why don't these sites get any SEO penalties?
Would really like to here peoples views on this, especially SEO experts.

There are millions of website in the website world and it is very difficult for search engines to find spammer till search engine knows about this from different source. Now search engine working on it and suggest users to let them know about those type of sites. If you find such types of sites/blog then you can tell about this thing to search engines and search engines surly ban those type of sites if search engines find that those sites are against their guidelines.

Don't go for such method, it is considered as spamming. This will harm your site and your friends too.

if you are trying to add more than 100 links then Google can consider your site as linkfarm site and the site your are trying to promote may be penalized by google

Yes ..I agree with Samual James that Google decided a link limit on web sites and it was i think 100, after going up to this limit Google consider it as a spam and can give any kind of penalty. SO on the safe and side stay behind the 100 link limit and enjoy penalty free web site.
