I am soon going to upload my new website but I need to put ads on it, is it possible to use a service that gives a wide range of categorized ads for use on different pages? I want banner ads and samll button ads. I would also like just one or two pay per impression ads also.
I will probobly get very little traffic so that coukd be a problem.
Can anyone reccomend a service that would be good for me?

I should have a signature here, but Im too lazy to type one.

Well if you are getting very little traffic, it'd be a good idea to hold of putting up advertisements. If you don't get a very large number of traffic, you will find you will make very very little, and then you are advertising on your site for nothing.

I'd hold off putting up ads until you reach a larger audience - that way your site will load faster with the less graphics.

But that's just my opinion.

I agree with m0dulus - you're not going to make money at first if you have low traffic, so wait and keep focused by improving your site constantly and marketing it. Once you get some traffic, then consider advertisng.

What are good ways to increase traffic, are banner ads an effective method?

Not at all, try textlinks or searchboxes with pre-filled content.

But wouldn't that mean that the company only counts click throughs or sales? I want the amount of time the ad is loaded to be counted, in exchange for my ad to be shown somewhere, wouldn't that be the best way of increasing traffic?

What you're referring to is basically a banner link exchange, which I have found ineffective and not efficient. The best ways to incrase traffic are discussed in this helpful article: http://www.promotionbase.com/article.php/433

I'm going to tread carefully here because I'm not certain on COS but if you want to guarantee recieving traffic then my site does just that. You physically buy the traffic from other sites. We're only new but have a few sites listed already, check out the directory.

If that is against COS then I apologise but I thought it was relevant enough to post.

Alta - Still not clear how you can buy for certain traffic from another site w/o the use of automatic popups.

Also, you have a bunch of grammatical typos on your site.

Hi

What exactly are your queries?

Plus, are these grammatical typos not just the product of UK-US crossover? Nobody else has pointed these out! What are they?
