I offer my own free PHP scripts from my site and I'm looking for affiliates that is suitable for my site. I can't use CPC or CPM program because my traffic is still very low, and I haven't joined Amazon because I heard that it's very difficult to generate revenue (very few people buy using your link). Can anyone give me some idea? As soon as my traffic reach 5000 pageview/month I will join CPC program. But for now I guess I have to find something else. TIA!

I would try out http://www.cj.com/ I use them myself!
Even though you don't have much traffic yet, this is probably your best bet, since they have many types of merchants. You could have text links, small buttons, large banners and more.

I really wouldn't bother until you have more traffic, you just won't make any money whilst increasing load times.

Yeah, I know I should wait until I get more traffic. But my problem is finding the *type* of affiliate for my site. Even if I don't use it now, I want to get the idea what kind of product I'll use later.
Matt, I looked at CJ and I hardly find anything related to my site (basically, my site is about PHP). But thank's for the info.

Hey,
I think you can try Amazon.com affiliate program.

Thank's for your suggestion
But as I said in my original post, it's very difficult to get money from them. Anyway, thank's a lot for your thought. I think I'll give Amazon a try.

No probs
I know that it's hard makung revenue with them, but with your traffic it will be hard anyway, no matter what program you will use...but Amazon can offer you targeted advertising, which is the best option i can think off..
