For those of you who use either a banner network or sell your own advertising, how has the market been treating in April versus say, March or February? Discuss conditions - do you think things are improving? For me, February and March seemed really good, then things dipped back down this month, unfortunately.

I've seen the direct inverse, companies that dropped down to a $1.75 - $2.00 CPM have raised up towards $2.50 for mostly untargeted ads, this still doesnt come close to what I use to get but its a start.

I have noticed some slight increases across the board. At this point, who knows if it was a temporary increase or a sign of things to come. I think one important factor with this trend is that there the percentage of offline advertisers is increasing.

I saw CPM's drop down compared to February and most of March. Ted what network are you with that's giving $2.50 CPM. It's been a long time since I've seen a CPM that high on any one of the forums I visit. Even for the networks like Luna.

Ravi Pachai - The companies I work for which bring in CPMs of that rate don't use public networks persay, instead they have a small ad network selling ad space for them and maybe one or two other companies. Because they dont pick up RON type banners and have stats, demographics and hundreds of millions of banners, they can get deceent prices.

Oh I see. I knew there were still some sites out there getting good CPM's. Thanks for the info.
