It's always a work in progress, isn't it? This is my blog on web design. I tend to post about things that don't really belong on the forum or on A Padded Cell for whatever reason. Usually editorial type content on web design issues.

The design was done about 4 years ago now. I've always believed that when you have a chance to push the normal boundaries of web design you should go for it! That's why I chose such a vibrant, feminine colour for my blog.

The layout is really a simple formula that you could follow yourself. I plan to write an A Padded Cell article about this technique: great photo, cropped in an interesting way + simple patterned background + simple 2-column layout.

I am starting to play with ideas for a new design for this site. Designing for yourself is hard since the options are really wide open but you want to represent who you are.
