What do you envision at this domain

That would be good. You could do it as a multi-purpose on campus living resource. How to get along with your roommate, how to solve problems, what to bring, what not to bring. You could even sell dorm accessories and cheesy decorations and posters. Guide to moving off campus and finding the right roommates... Make sure you have a board for people to b!tch about their roommates/floormates/neighbours/whoever.

I once came across a list once of common types of roommates (funny) - I'll see if I can find it.

I think the website idea is much better than the large glorified forum. Someone brought up the point that college students tend to complain about almost everything, and never have any positive feedback.

Yes, after reading it, I first thought of college/university dorms... and with the word mates, I think you could turn it into a resource for those looking at universities and colleges...or maybe those already in one.
