So as we reach mid-summer, how has the economic slow down effected your online business?
A little hard to tell during the summer months IMO as people are normally out and about anyway, not in front of their computers.

The main thing that affected my business (a free stuff site) is that there aren't good advertisers as there used to be...The payouts are smaller per offer and a lot of advertisers reached bankruptcy.

This is more of a long-term thing, not just summer, but I haven't had many advertisers come to me, either. A year or two ago, I had lots, at times selling all my spots out, but now I have to use BURST! and CJ to fill my inventories. This, despite the fact my site gets a lot more traffic now than it did then.

i hear that mjames, if i had the traffic i have now back in 1999, i would have been making some serious cash! however, now that i have the traffic i don't have the advertisers, hehe.
