I need a good basic Shopping Cart. I think SalesCart Pro 3.0 from my own research may be the way to go, does anyone have an opinion on this program,

Starting off basic may look like a good idea, but if your business grows and you need more features it will be a pain to upgrade to a more advanced cart.
Try finding a middle-of-the-road cart. One that has good features but isn't hard to use or expensive. I like Dansie.

I have only used Miva Merchant (that's what my host has installed) but I have found it very easy to use and easy to customise. The support from Miva direct is also very quick & good.

You might like to consider Shop Factory - shopfactory.com . It's easy to set up and not too expensive.
