Hey everyone, I am not really new to the idea of Affiliate Marketing but I have yet to make 1 Dollar. My latest venture involved registering a domain name and redirecting the domain name to my affiliate link. advertising of course, is my biggest problem. I have advertised all over the web. Some free, some paid for. I am seriously thinking of rolling the dice and spending a heap of money on a radio commercial or full page ad in a newspaper or magazine. Anyone think that’s a good Idea?? Or got any new ideas for a clickbank wannabe like myself?? ...Thanks!

In reply to your post, my opinion is that it takes a while for a business to boom and you really need a lot of patience. But on the side note, your business is internet-oriented. If you plan to advertise on radio or newspaper, you need a different approach as they are directed to perhaps non- internet savvy customers too. Brainstorm ideas and ask people out. Web advertising is extremely different from radio or newspaper ad. But any idea is better than none!!

Don't give up, just change the angle you're looking at your project at. I'm sure paid advertisements should have brought traffic your way. Where did you advertize your site?

You might try creating some free ebooks and make them available on your site. They should, of course, be on the topic of what you're (re)selling.

mere advertisement is not important.i dont know what is your business. but before starting a business you should know that what you are going to start it has any demand in the market. and what is you target audience. and your product should be good enough. and you should also know about the other people who are dealing in this business.
paper marketing and radio marketing is a very good idea. but before this see all the factors. and then do something and improve your product and services. and then go for big advertisement.
