I only do one business of affiliates.
That's for Amazon, just because I like to buy books from Amazon.
But the books are expensive for me, when I see the affiliate program of Amazon, so I think why not try it,maybe I can earn some money for my books.
So I did it, and it bring me a little money.
I'm new to affiliate marketing myself. I personally have found WealthyAffiliate.com to be very helpful. I was skeptical at first because you have to pay money to use the site. But it has taught me a lot about affiliate marketing and how it works. I'm still a member today and learn something new all the time.
I also use amazon.com, but I need to drive more traffic to my website to really make that work. Hope This Helps
Thats one way to learn about it. One of the most valuable sources of learning is by doing. Read as much as possible. Study Google's various systems inside and out. V7N.com has an enormous amount of information on the subject. Lots of SEO and PPC hints, tips, and just good ol' advice. Some of the industry expert blogs are good too. ShoeMoney.com has some great content. You really shouldn't have to pay to have access to this type of information. There are a bunch of links out there that provide hundred of ways to build site traffic outside of PPC campaigns. To name a few: back links, rich content, site mapping, directory submission, consistent updating, meta tags, URL structure (pointed KW inclusion, not just random numbers and letters). Of course you could always pay a company to do this stuff for you, but dont expect to see results for at least 3 or 4 months. Patience is a virtue and consistent effort will eventually pay off! Good Luck
I am into webhosting and I am getting my servers from dedicatedserverstore.com for cheap money and I am reselling them again for more expensive. They provide all tech support and I pay them monthly based on what my customers want and need. This way I make bout $200 a month per server. It is a lot better than trying to get 5% or even 15% for a n affiliate software sale. My income is reoccurring

That doesn't matter.
It's one of those topics that could come bouncing back at any time, it's a good general question.
Although there is another topic very similar to this around the forums, this one seems to have drifted to talking about SEO, which is cool.
