Non-Google Text Ads
I really like the style of ads that Google offers through their Adsense program, but I'm not keen on giving out my social security number. Anyone know text ads something like Google's (or any ads really) that don't require a social security number?

I totally know how you feel...but Google's the best one. I am hesitant to give them my social security number too because it's basically people's identity. But all other programs probably suck, and with Google's AdSense I hear people actually make money.

Knoodle wanted my SSN, but not clicksor! Thanks!
[EDIT]
If anyone feels really nice and wants to give me 5 bucks of Clicksor's money, they can PM me so I can send the link with my reference. I might add that until further notice, I'm donating all ad money to the tsunami releif effort.

If a network does not take your SS# or EIN and you make more than $600 they are breaking the US tax law. If you get less than $600 they don't need your SS#.

Guys:
Just so you know, you can get an EIN number in about 3 minutes online and it costs nothing.
Then you don't have to use your SS#
Just an FYI

I'm afraid Adsense is far above anything else.

imho, since almost everyone is using adsense, it should be safe to give them your ssn#. it's required by law anyway...

As I mentioned in a previous message, you can just get an EIN number and then you don't have to give out your SS#. Here is the quick online form to get an EIN:
