I think email marketing is not good. it is considered as spam bcoz users do not wish to receive those mails. and you send those mails to them without their permission.
if you just send your new promotions and your new deals to your current customers then it is good and it have many advantages too.
The advantage of a mailing list is clearly the ability to distribute information to a wide range of specific, potential customers at a relatively low cost.
