What would you want to read in a newsletter??? (Feature wise)
I do a newsletter for an Intranet and all my five ideas have been exhausted over the last few months! Anyone got any newies??? I've worn the oscars and george dubbya features into the ground. It leaves me only with empty space...
I just thought I'd put this out there as its just a jokey newsletter so any entertaining thoughts would be much appreciated!!!

Jo, the hardest thing in life to do is to remain creative once a job(or a spouse, website, etc) gets old. Maybe you could develop a theme for each newsletter.
Here are some sites that may help with the news:

You just have to do like any good news network does on a slow day. Invent news.

Too right, its a nightmare

At least I'll be able to cut down on my Knock Knock jokes now!
Anyone else got any ideas??? I'm going to plug you for all you're worth now. That probably means different things in different countries but u know what I mean!

In newsletters I read, I want well-written, unique/exlusive content that informs me of things I have interest in (sports, computing, Internet, etc.). It's hard to be specific in your request's case because it could be any topic. Make sure you are consistent and your newsletter design is easy to understand and is not too confusing.

Oh it is easy to understand Marc. Its not really work specific but meant to be light relief.
I have regulars,
Joke of the Week,
Reviews,
Quiz,
Fantasy Football (wayhey! I'm second to bottom in the league!)
But then I have features which I usually base around news topics. Or events, George Bush, Chinese New Year, Christmas Presents on the Net, etc.

Just don't have very interesting news topics at the mo'!
Thought someone might have heard a good news story!

Aha! Yeah. I try things like that but although everyone enjoys reading it (honestly!) noone wants to give any input or write anything for it
I think its cos it makes them seem less busy!
