I dont know if this will work here, there doesn't seem to be many people posting, but I will give it a go...
For those who haven't played it before, its simple.
I post a tiny snippet image of something, anything, a famous person, a car, famous landmark or building etc
Whoever guesses correctly posts the next image for everyone to guess, and so it goes on
One rule that has to be adhered to is if you are guessing, you might get it correct, so don'tguess then not come back to the forum for days
as we will be waiting for YOU to keep the game going
It gets stale and boring if it's not fast moving
Also, you can post something like you own kitchen sink, something in your own home or somthing tricky, but try to show the part of the image that iseventually guesable, rather than an impossible image no-one will ever get
Of course the opposite also applies - don't post something too easy!
I'll start with an easy one just to break everyone in....
If ever it appears an image has many guesses and is going on too long, clues can be given
I hope I don't need to give any clues for this one though
(oh, and remember one important thing.......be careful when NAMING your image, we are all internet/PC users here, and aren't shy of a *right click - properties*
)

Looks like a kind of church building - taking a wild guess - is it the Sistine Chapel?

Am I allowed to have more than one guess? Not that I have any idea what it is, but it's a fun game.

I suppose the best way is to only have 1 or 2 guesses in one post, obviously to give others a chance to guess
but then if 3 or 4 people have guessed I suppose it wont spoil to have 2-3 guesses in a post
a 'spolier' clue:
re-read my previous post very carefully, I have pretty much given the answer in my clue

I think I know, I think I know! But, as I've already guessed once, I'll give other people more time to have a guess before I blurt it out.

you need a direct link to the image from a website or server, and then wrap the [img ... [/img] tags around it
or use an imagehost, they give you the image link for forums already done
just copy and paste them
there are plenty around

Correct! It's 'The Basketball Hall Of Fame.
My photo was shot from the highway on the way from my house to my sister's, so I didn't get the whole thing.
But here's another photo from the web.
Just some local triva:
This is known as the 'Hall Of Shame' by Springfield residents because when the new building was built they cut funding to police/fire/park police/road repair and maintainence. (My sister's street barely gets plowed in the winter)
(And I am a former Connecticut resident/UCONN Husky fan now living in UMASS territory LOL!)

Alright, something much closer to this corner of the world, for Magenta's sake. (No Kiwis are allowed to answer this one!)
Situated in a small town in New Zealand's countryside, this monument is world famous. Well, at least in New Zealand it is.

How do you people know these things?! Are you all veteran travellers of the obscure? I live right next door to NZ and I've never heard of the giant bottle. Maybe I need to get out more.
( But I'm not going anywhere until I win a round of this game. It has become my life's purpose. )
