Hello,
I have read a story about Sydney Opera house’s construction and design. It is very ultra modern and a fantastic style and construction. It was completed in 1973 and having cost $102 million.
Don’t you think it’s a waste of money and resources?
Thanks.

Well, not really. It's a place that celebrates culture firstly, secondly it's famous--we both know what it is. This means if either of us went to Oz that would be a place we'd visit (and possibly pay money to the government to tour).
Now if you want to see a real waste of money, look to the Millenium Dome. If only there was a 'Most Pointless and Over-priced Edifice' award, the Dome would win it every year.
That 'London Eye' ferris wheel's quite good though, at least it actually does something (and I took a photo of it that am really happy with, nearly fell in the Thames taking it though). Plus am certain there are public projects every country isn't proud of.
