SEVEN RMIT staff working just metres underneath two mobile phone towers in a Melbourne CBD building have been diagnosed with brain tumours.
The cases have forced the university to evacuate the two top floors of the Tivoli building and begin immediate health and safety testing.

a few months ago, they were building this super high building just around the street, then turned out it was a mobile network tower.. the neighborhood got alramed by the facts that radiation is gives bad effect to people, skin rashes, brain problems, headaches, hearing... I rememberes signing for the petition.. I didn't notice not until a month ago, they had it removed.. a good call!
how about you? are you somewhere near a mobile network tower?

I'm on reasonably high ground but don't think I'm near any mobile network towers

One of the trails I walk through goes through the power corridor. I get headaches when I walk though there.
My mom has been researching a lot about cleaning and personal care products causing cancer. A lot of those strong cleaning products have a lot of chemicals in them. That can't possibly be healthy...

I live under high-tension power lines. Can't see any harm coming from them. It does no good for the aura of the neighbourhood, but is harmless physiologically -- natural electromagnetic radiation from the earth is several orders of magnitude larger (100x or 1000x? I forget).
The article establishes no causal link between the tower and the cases of cancer. Fortunately the people responsible aren't jumping to conclusions either. It would be worse to wrongly assume the tower was the cause and not fix the real problem (if there is one at all).
I'm more concerned about the risk of automotive accidents than cancer due to infrastructure radiation.
