If you guys want to record cd's onto your computer really fast, do it threw your cdrw.. The buffer helps it record alot faster.
Justin, only a decent amount?

I had about 450 on my computer at work - mostly 80s stuff - but then I had to switch machines so I had to get rid of them all I kept screenshots of the music directory though, so I'll remember what I had!
I don't even bother with it at home usually - my modem is just too slow and there's no hard drive space for it anyway. Hopefully soon I'll be able to afford a new machine.... (and DSL!)
About 2000 here. It's currently something like 170 or 180 full albums taking up nearly 15 gigs of hard drive space. But I just ordered a CD burner, so as soon as it ships the mp3s can be burned and deleted. I saw a guy on Napster once with over 5000 songs and a couple over 4000.
I currently have about 24GB (1 18GB, 1 6GB) in my machine. I bought a 30GB a few weeks ago, and it's sitting on the floor taunting me. I just haven't had time to put it in (I wanna re-install windows when I do, get a fresh start). I can only have 2 HD in at once, so I'll have 48GB in the machine and 6GB to move to another machine.

Yeah, I'd say 1006 is a decent amount. I only have 56
And in addition to that, I only have Napster 2.0 Beta 5. Not worth posting a pic of it...

I have only 168 at the moment. I burn them then delete them. I get about 5 songs a day.
