Name that (old) PC game
I'm not much of a game player so hope someone here might be able to remember this old PC game.
You had to build up a base and harvest cystals or something, but to build the base you had to lay foundations (slabs, was in sand) and there were these sand slugs that would eat up.
It's not much to go on, the only other thing that may help is the age of it, at a guess I'd say was around maybe 6+ years ago.
Anyone have any idea what the game is?

Could be Tiberian Sun. Or [url=and I said it]Dune[/url]. More likely TS though, as I recall.

Dune sounds like it could be the one, I tried searching for it but all results are for the book.

Am now more confused than ever, could be Dune, Warcraft, C&C (Tiberian or Red alert) or something else.
Think it might be Red Alert, but it doesn't seem they use the slabs, Dune II does but doesn't look right.

it cant be starcraft although they gather minerals, theres no concrete slab to put to build a base.... I think i played this game before but I forgot... Its a space themed game too...

Well actually, it could be starcraft, there is a race where you have to build on a particular substance (not concrete though).
