I like mostly rock/light alternative sort of stuff. My boyfriend has been introducing me to a lot of British bands (Keane, Morcheeba, Blur, Snow Patrol, Arctic Monkeys etc.). I just started listening the White Stripes which I really like (strange characters are interesting to me.) Then there's U2, Colplay, REM, and various early-alternative and retro stuff. I generally prefer music created by people who are actually artistically talented as opposed to the canned over-produced stuff.

I am a big fan of metal right now. I listen to ChroniX radio on itunes which is pretty nice. My favorite band is Godsmack, they do a lot of cool things for the soldiers like concerts overseas. Their music is also featured on the Navy commercials (my big sis is in the Navy)

Would you believe, I've been in a feminist punk rock phase for a few weeks (well, just Le Tigre, really). Sticking out tongue

I like music with a message.

Lately, I've been enjoying Jack Johnson a lot. His song "Gone" really speaks to me.

If you would convince a man that he does wrong, do right. Men will believe what they see.

For the last 6 months or so, I've been listening mostly to oldies. mid 50's to mid 70's, generally. No real favorite group in there, I like most of it.
