It's weird, because in S-W ONtario the weather has been colder this year than it was over the past few years. Like in the Summer of '99 it was in the 40's (celsius!) almost every day - this summer it was only in the low 30's I think! In February there was a couple of weeks when it was about -40 (Celcius again) - I don't remember it being so cold for that long before.
Overall, though, it must be getting warmer. When I was growing up in Chatham I remember there being a lot of snow, but now they hardly get any there.

ah well, all the snow is gone here and it seems to have warmed up alot, which is pretty nice.
Megan, I dont think you can attribute the change in weather to the emission of CO2 (not sure if you thats what you were saying..). The weather patterns will fluctuate anyway ( you would probably have to look over a decade or more ), and then even if there is a change (which I'm sure there has been) you cannot put the blame on CO2 emissions. Truthfully, I dont think we have experienced the result of all these fossil fuels being emitted, at least not yet.
You can blame this whole funky weather thing on El Nino. Seriously, you can. El Nino isn't causing it now, but the aftereffects are what we're going through. It really messed up our weather system, and as such we're kind of spiraling out until we can get back on track.

Let's discuss the clothes we (computernerds) are wearing.
I like to wear: anything as long as it fits and remains comfortable --> Crossover between skate/office.
oh yeah, that's a great topic!
well, i used to wear band-pullies and band-shirts (i'm one of these new-school-punkers ) but now, i'm older... the most important thing is: comfortable and enough air between skin and clothing (no ties!)...
Here's an idea.. for all the webmasters here, post pictures of yourself. So we can all marvel at ... eh... the beauty... of ..... think up something yourself. My mind is a blank today.
Oh the wonders if i had a digital camera. My scanner doesn't work... (like i care heheh). I'd like to see some photos of people who post here often, like.... oh i don't know.... the top 10 posters at TWF!!!:
JP Stones
Justin Stayton

Parker Trasborg
Patrick A Baer
Brian Farkas
Chad Simper
John Pollock
Rob Pengelly
Mike Fisher <-- especially him !
Post them all up, all us webamsters will decide which is the best, funniest ... and that needs editing up ... hmmm.. i think i just thought up a newer and better challenge! heheheh
What's with the four wheeler? We used to have one of those (a three wheeler actually) when I was a kid - my big sister used to take me for rides somtimes. But then my brother "fixed" it and that was the end of it.
ou well, this is such a useless thread.... but anyway, it's going to be the longest ever on this board. does anyone know, how far we have to go with our topics, to get the longest one? i guess not?
there are still some senseless topics left:
- favorite screen-saver
- favorite astronaut/kosmonaut
- favorite writing tool
- favorite chewing-gum
- favorite hanky-brand
- favorite medicine
- favorite office-plant
- favorite font
- uhoh, i'm running out of topics...
Since I don't have a photo (sorry Fisher), wanna see my toilet? I'll do what ailbanana suggested....
favorite screen-saver: The Famous Blank Screen
favorite astronaut/kosmonaut: What's a kosmonaut?
favorite writing tool: Staroffice (until it crashed)
favorite chewing-gum: The gum I find under my shoe
favorite hanky-brand: Toilet Paper
favorite medicine: Morphin j/k
favorite office-plant: The one dying next to me.
favorite font: Don't you mean fonze? hehe
only 600?
We can do 6000 (see this thread's title)
By the way:
Don't stop sending pictures: SabrinaP, don't tell me you don't know anybody with a scanner or that they don't have one at your work. You're not gonna get away with: "I don't have a digital photo of me!"

But I would like to see some more snow!!

Don't worry, you will. Just wait until February and you'll be good and sick of it all!
I don't know about all that CO2 stuff - I just found the temperature difference between last year and this year to be really drastic.

What's with the four wheeler? We used to have one of those (a three wheeler actually) when I was a kid - my big sister used to take me for rides somtimes. But then my brother "fixed" it and that was the end of it.
