Russell Crowe is technically from New Zealand, but I think he moved to Oz as a kid and grew up in newcastle.
We are a pretty open minded people, if someone is here for a while we can claim them as our own. Unless of course if say Russell Crowe's acting ability was terrible, then we'd probably pack him into a plane and send him home!!

I know peopole from New Zealand who moved here. Very nice people. I've also chatted with other Australians on ICQ, I haven't found one rude or unpleasant yet.

We have our usual meld of good bad and ugly. The thing I love about Australia is you can call anyone mate.
examples:
I'm gonna knock your head off........ mate
I just slept with your wife..... mate
It's not like just because you're polite to them, they won't
A: hit back or
B: go and sleep with your wife
it's just that I haven't found anything like that anywhere else around the world.

It's a commercial that was on all day on a local San Diego radio station. I listened to that station practically everyday until they stopped broadcasting over the net. Seems like most American radio stations quit their web broadcast because of some law that had been passed in the US. Now I'm back to London Capitol Gold

No Mark, I saw it on TV as there was a documentary film quite some time back, I hope to visit it and also Disneyland should the opportunity arise.
