Two 22" monitors baby!!!!!!!!!! I finally took the plunge and bought'em. I had been thinking of getting big LCDs for a while but I never wanted to pay for them. I first wanted those 24” ones from Dell but they are like $700 bucks a piece. So I settled for the 22” model from Acer. They aren’t as big, but I think they will still look good on my desk. I’ll take a pic when I get them and post it here. It should look pretty sweet.
So what kind of monitors do you have? If anyone has a 24 incher from dell I am gonna be pissed…
I have 2 big fatty CRTs with a 15 inch viewable area; I don't know what that is in CRT measurements. I can't wait to toss those out.
EDIT: Another question, do any of you have big ol' LCD or plasma tvs? My dad says he is gonna get one to watch my sister play basketball (Go USU!), but I don't think he is too serious about it. What model and brand is it? Is it a lot better than the regular tvs?

I've got a 19" CRT and a 21" LCD. The LCD cost approx £800 about a year ago, if my memory is correct. Why did I spend that much?! Twin monitors always looks cool though.
Never really watched a plasma tv. Am very grumpy about tv, it rots the brain.

Argggggg, the wait is killing me. They come by UPS tomorrow. I'm going crazy thinking about them.
I'm surprised more people here have CRTs than LCDs. I thought everyone on TWF would be on the cutting edge and have fancy pantsy monitors

How many times have visited UPS's site to see the package tracking data???
Myself, All I use is the 15.4 display on my laptop normally. I do at church also use a 7 foot display connected to it, but that is for everyone in church to see, not me.
I do have my good KDS 19" monitor that I got back when those cost like $350 for a good trinitron flat crt.

Just curious as to how many of you wear glasses.
I've found friends who have big tv/pc screens usually wear glasses
My little CRT is getting old now, about 6 years old, I don't wear glasses but notice the screen is a little fuzzy compared to others I see/use.

I wear glasses occasionally. just for reading sometimes, they are very mild as my eyesight is not that bad - I actually haven't worn them for a while, they just sit on my desk looking at me, I stick them on usually when my eyes get tired from doing close-up work.
How about anyone else?

I wear glasses, but I wear my contacts more. I see the screen fine (I didn't buy the bigger monitors so I could see better.)
