Why is the Gladiator movie that good?
I seen Pitch Black and that was good (the bad guy never dies) (But hes the biggest help)

Riddick wasn't neccesarily the -bad- guy. He played a killer, sure, but as the showed us, killers can be the greatest help in certian situations.
Gladiator's good, in my opinion, because of the nice blend of Drama, Action, and Politics. It makes for a good flick to watch for any reason what-so-ever.

I just enjoy how Ridley Scott tells a story. If you enjoyed Gladiator make sure you check out 1492: Conquest Of Paradise, it's not as action packed but it's still a great movie, plus with music by Vangelis you can't lose.

I just saw Gladiator yesterday, it was really cool, except....
Since there was so much initial hype about the movie it did take away some of the galmour while watching it. The ads say it's cool, the visual effects are cool (they really were), so it was as if I knew what to expect from it. Well, that's my view point.

Well, I bought the DVD... 2 Discs. I haven't even seen the second one yet. It's got something like 4 hours of extra stuff. Sometime when I've got that much time...

Yeah, I saw Gladiator four times in the theatres
I'm thinking of buying it. The best part is the opening scene when you see all the arrows and cannon balls flying through the air...

Pitch Black was a very good movie. If you haven't seen it I suggest you do.

I love the Gladiator, too bad I don't have a DVD player. I'm looking for the VCD version. Btw, Gladiator was the first movie I watched twice.

So I Didn't feel left out, I watched Gladiator.
I'll admit, it was good, when the guy brought out the other fella's head and threw it on the ground, heh, that was cool.
The movie got slow here and there but another good part was when the guy peed his pants, the one that was scared and then they all went out to fight those armored barbarians (the first scene i think) and he got smashed in the face with a mace. That was cool
They used alot of fake blood in this movie too, i noticed after the first few fight scenes : )...

Remember the first part of the show where there is a war? After the war, I spot a few guys without their arms, and those missing their legs hopping around. That is cool.
I like the part where Maximus and his bunch of the Barbarian Horde first entered arena where they "perform" for the Emperor. Maximus asked, "Ever been in the army?" And they worked together. THAT was REALLY coooooooolllllllll.
